Self Care and Sanity

Hey There,

I'm getting better at physical self-care, you know the usual - sleep, nutrition, hydration, exercise etc. Because lets face it ...I ain't getting any younger 🤣

BUT the most valuable asset I have, and that I never want to lose is...

...my peace of mind. Yes, my sanity. I want to be able to:

  • wake up motivated and refreshed

  • think straight when anxious and worried

  • deal with my up and down moods

  • speak to people who annoy me without exploding and destroying relationships (yes, my partner still makes my blood boil after 22 years of un-wedded bliss😆 )

So when I feel myself 'losing it', losing a grip on life. I dip into this book to soothe my brain.

The "Untethered Soul" by Michael A. Singer hits a G-spot that only a handful of books do. It straightens out my thoughts. It helps me to disconnect from the noise in my head. It's like a massage for the mind.

But most of all, it reminds me that emotional intelligence feels easier ....if you find your spiritual mojo.

What book are you reading at the moment that brings a sense of calm? I would love to share it with the community!

Shoot me a reply….
