The key to greater relationships : Is Zig Ziglar right?

Hey there!

What did motivational speaker Zig Ziglar say? (lean in and tell me if you agree with this statement):

“You can have everything in life you want, if you will just help enough other people get what they want.”

AGREE or DISAGREE?

Sounds too simple to be true, hey? But what if this REALLY were the secret to having greater influence and becoming incredibly persuasive?

I think Zig Ziglar hit the nail on the head. Because any successful relationship needs someone to keep a level head, and their eye on the road ahead.

But it takes a lot of emotional intelligence and self awareness to create a positive atmosphere. One that weathers disagreements, but ultimately benefits both parties.

I am running a free webinar Saturday 28th October talking about this and more. And the big question I want you to ask yourself is:

1. Do you genuinely understand the other person’s desires and goals? AND

2. Do you genuinely want to fulfil those needs, desires and goals?

Yes, it’s simple when you know how.

But of course it’s not THAT simple.

Because… we are talking about:

passionate, headstrong, irrational and emotional creatures called - human beings. And they don’t come with an operational manual.

Zig’s ideas were based on being true to your own personal values, having integrity, and staying in an empathic curious (dare I say loving?) space. Even when people wind you up! irritate and annoy you!

At the end of the day, success has to be a two-way street. A win-win. Because when everyone’s a winner, it opens the door for building a deeper relationship.

Here’s what 3 key celebrity figures, Warren Buffet, Oprah Winfrey and Richard Branson believe:

  • Warren Buffett: The legendary investor speaks about the importance of building and maintaining trust-based relationships. He said : "It takes 20 years to build a reputation and five minutes to ruin it. If you think about that, you'll do things differently."

  • Oprah Winfrey: Media mogul Oprah Winfrey’s success is built on relationships which she cultivated over the years. She emphasizes the value of authenticity and genuine connections in her interactions with people.

  • Richard Branson: The founder of Virgin Group, values the relationships he has with employees, partners, and customers. He has stated that - treating people with respect and building strong connections has been crucial to his business success.

I consciously create the right atmosphere for conversations in all my relationships. Why would I want anything less? And I want this for you.

Join me on 28th October 5pm BST (12pm EST), where I am going to talk about this and more in a free webinar.

Because I truly believe these 3 steps will help other people to happily help you …to get what you want.
